Journaliste et commentateur sportif incontournable du petit écran depuis plus de 40 ans, Nelson Monfort sera à Saint-Raphaël le 9 mai pour retracer l’histoire des Jeux, depuis leur création à Olympie en 776 av J.C jusqu’à leur venue à Paris en 2024. L’occasion pour le public raphaëlois de revivre les plus grandes émotions sportives en présence de celui qui a fait ses premiers pas olympiques en interviewant la légende de l’athlétisme Carl Lewis lors des jeux de Barcelone 1992.
Entre records mondiaux, anecdotes savoureuses et souvenirs marquants, Nelson Monfort relatera le parcours de ces champions d’exception qui ont marqué l’histoire des Jeux Olympiques. Le commentateur reviendra également sur les faits olympiques qui ont non seulement scandé l’histoire du sport mais aussi l’Histoire de l’humanité, au gré des guerres, conflits et autres revendications.
De quoi se mettre en jambes avant le passage de la Flamme Olympique dans les rues de Saint-Raphaël le lendemain, le 10 mai 2024 !
