The massif is a good place to cultivate, especially the mimosa and the eucalyptus. Tanneron is bordered on the south by the Riou, on the west by the Lake of Saint-Cassien, on the north and on the west by the Siagne. The view extends from the Ligurian Coast to the Alpes de Haute Provence.

Tanneron is the most flowery town in the Var, and even in France, in terms of mimosa. Within its "Yellow Forests", the smell is heady and persistent. Today, it grows abundantly, almost everywhere in the wild.
Some of Tanneron's horticulturists open kindly their farms for visits from December to March. Come and discover the forceries, rooms where the still green mimosa flowers, the packaging rooms, and the greenhouses where the mimosa seedlings grow.
From December to March, the Mimosa Route brings you to Bormes-les-Mimosas in Grasse, during flowery and festive corsos.
