The village of Saint-Paul-en-Forêt
Discover the village of Saint-Paul-en-Forêt, one of the 9 hilltop villages of the Pays de Fayence! The village is plentiful of authentic narrow streets and is the starting point for many hikes through the hectares of forest that surround it. Its inhabitants have the privilege, like all those of the Pays de Fayence, to be able to spend the morning by the sea (30 minutes away) and to put on skis in the afternoon (1 hour from the Audibergue or Gréolières resort), or to visit the Gorges du Verdon (1 hour 45 minutes away).
A small authentic village nestled in the centre of a lush vegetation, the territory of Saint-Paul was previously occupied by the Ligurians, then by the Romans after Caesar's victory: many traces of these diverse invaders are the witnesses.
Thanks to its proximity to many points of interest, many inhabitants have chosen to settle permanently in the village after succumbing to its charm. Rich in a dense associative life, the inhabitants of Saint-Paul also have the privilege of being able to practice many leisure activities thanks to the numerous municipal infrastructures (tennis, basketball, volleyball...). A shooting range located in the forest also allows the practice of ball-trap and target shooting.
