Description
Life jacket on, paddle in hand — your canoe adventure begins!
A 3 km journey takes you to the small, secluded Noirel Lake, accessible only via the Argens River. Along the way, European pond turtles bask in the sun on tree trunks. Kingfishers perch in the trees, watching for fish rising to the surface. Depending on the season, European bee-eaters can be seen high in the treetops, hunting for insects. The Argens meanders through this lush green haven, with the Rocher de Roquebrune rising majestically in the background.
At Little Noirel Lake, nestled at the foot of the Rocher de Roquebrune-sur-Argens, take a refreshing swim break. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a snack or a picnic and recharge your batteries.
For the more adventurous, you can paddle further upstream beyond Lake Noirel, where you’ll discover beautiful pebble beaches and charming swimming spots perfect for relaxing and exploring.
