Since 1984 and the very first edition organized by Stéphane Hauvette with 7 competitors, the Roc d'Azur has gone from strength to strength, bringing together over 20,000 participants, 300 exhibitors and 150,000 visitors over 5 days!

Description

Implanté depuis 1997 sur la Base Nature François Léotard de Fréjus et dans les sentiers de Roquebrune-sur-Argens, il est devenu le 1er événement VTT au monde et célèbre comme il se doit, chaque année au mois d’octobre, l’ensemble des acteurs du cycle et du VTT. À commencer par les milliers de cyclistes amateurs en provenance des 4 coins de France et de 50 pays différents…

Habitué du Massif des Maures qu’il parcoure en long, en large et en travers, le Roc d’Azur découvre, en bonus, le Massif de l’Estérel en 2022 sur la commune de Saint-Raphaël ! De quoi en prendre encore plein les yeux.

Professionnels, amateurs, débutants, adultes, enfants, crosseurs, enduristes… peu importe votre âge et votre niveau, le Roc d’Azur est ouvert à tous, aux passionnés de longue date comme aux curieux de dernière minute. Avec un grand nombre de courses proposées, diverses et variées, chacun pourra trouver la course ou la randonnée qu’il souhaite, en cross-country bien sûr mais également en triathlon, en vélo électrique, en gravel et même en trail...

En plus du programme sportif, le Roc d’Azur accueille chaque année le plus grand salon VTT gratuit ouvert à tous. Il propose également de nombreuses animations mettant à l’honneur diverses disciplines du monde du vélo (dirt, trial, initiations, tests…).

Fréjus
