"À PLEURER DE RIRE" (TO CRY WITH LAUGHTER) is the promise Mathieu Madénian makes with his fourth and latest show, in which he tells us, with his incredible sense of self-mockery, how his life and his deepest certainties were turned upside down by the late arrival of his first child.
Over the course of an hour, Mathieu takes us through the tumultuous world of a new father trying to juggle the absurdity of a world on the brink of chaos while learning the ropes of fatherhood. How can he reconcile his traditional upbringing with the new wave of modern fatherhood?
How do you explain gender concepts to your son... when he hasn't even mastered TikTok? And above all, how not to come across as an out-of-touch boomer?
With his unique talent for transforming the everyday into comedy, Mathieu gives us a show in which he talks about his mistakes, his failures, and the lessons he learns from his little boy, who, barely born, already seems to know more about life than he does.

Once again this year, the Festival du Rire is supporting the Pink October initiative by donating €1 per ticket sold to the oncology department of the Fréjus/Saint-Raphaël intercommunal hospital. This partnership, initiated in 2021 between the town of Saint-Raphaël and the hospital's Patronage and Philanthropy Commission, raises funds used to improve catering for oncology patients, notably by purchasing refrigerated bedside tables and offering a "pleasure menu" with pastries and salads. This partnership is being renewed to continue improving the quality of care.

Welcome to Les Issambres, the district of Roquebrune-sur-Argens located on the coast. True paradise with its 8 km of beaches and creeks, this family seaside resort, already frequented at the time by the Romans, is located between the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and Fréjus-Saint Raphaël.
Frejus, located halfway between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, is at the heart of the Côte d'Azur. Based on a sandstone buttress of the Esterel massif, the town dominates the valleys of Argens and Reyran. Frejus has the appearance of a small Provencal town whose new districts extend to the sea.
65km from Nice Côte d'Azur International Airport, Saint-Raphaël is located between Cannes and Saint-Tropez. This seaside resort on the Mediterranean coast is at the bottom of the great Esterel mountains. Saint Raphael, whose city center is by the sea, is divided into different neighborhoods that have all their characteristics and their personalities.
