Vocaliste hors normes, le chanteur sénégalais Faada Freddy mêle depuis 30 ans soul, reggae, a capella et rap conscient, que ce soit avec le groupe de rap dakarois Daara J ou en solo. Avec son dernier album Golden Cages, il réaffirme une approche authentique, où il mêle sa voix, aux claquements de mains et percussions corporelles pour créer une musique profondément captivante.
Cet album célèbre également ses racines africaines et exprime son amour pour le Sénégal et son continent.
