L’épreuve cycliste du Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var se scinde en deux et devient la Classic Var et le Tour des Alpes-Maritimes.
Après avoir accueilli ces deux dernières années le départ du Tour des Alpes-Maritimes du Var, Saint-Raphaël est désormais la ville départ de la Classic Var qui se déroulera le 16 février 2024.
Cette course d’un jour verra de grands noms du peloton s’affronter sur les routes pour une arrivée très attendue au Mont-Faron.
Parmi les cyclistes attendus le Français Kévin Vauquelin, vainqueur du classement général du Tour des Alpes-Maritimes du Var sera sur la ligne de départ. D’autres équipes, comme Décathlon AG2R La Mondiale ou encore Cofidis, devraient dévoiler le nom de leurs coureurs prochainement.
Le départ fictif sera donné le vendredi 16 février 2024 depuis le Palais des Congrès de Saint-Raphaël.
Un village sera organisé sur place avec la présentation des coureurs.
