The itinerary starts from the Gaillarde valley near the coast. We'll take the “Petites Maures” tracks which cross the garrigue and include 2 ridge sections on wide trails. But we’ll also follow some very pleasant footpaths.
The itinerary presents no real technical difficulties or hazards, but includes some physically challenging uphill sections. We'll see some beautiful views along the way.
This itinerary reaches 246 metres at its highest point. It features two Dolmen sites that date from a distant past. You’ll be greeted with a welcome snack, courtesy of Roquebrunes-sur-Argens Tourist Office. It’ll be “Voiles de Saint-Tropez” sailing week, so we may even spot a few yachts.
IMPORTANT: Hiking shoes are compulsory and walking poles are recommended. Bring a rucksack with hiking equipment (and preferably your own first-aid kit) and all the necessary for hot, sunny weather including a sun hat and at least 1.5 litres of water. Good physical fitness required.
You'll need to bring your own picnic
