Randonnée : Le sentier du Mimosa - Vallon de la Gaillarde

Take the whole family for a walk along the mimosa trail. A great way to explore the protected natural sites of the hills overlooking the Mediterranean. Mimosa flowers in January and February.

From Saint Raphaël, take the D559 road to La Gaillarde beach, then turn right onto Rue du Gattilier towards “Cimetière des Issambres” (cemetery) and, immediately afterwards you’ll pass Domaine de la Gaillarde. Continue straight on the same road for about 2 minutes (900 metres). Park once you’ve passed the small roadside stand which you’ll see on your right.

You can park near the stand. The trail starts at the car park.

From the car park, follow the small dirt track just through the gate. Turn right, then left onto a shady path. Turn left at the next intersection. Your destination is a few hundred metres further on.
The return trip is via the same itinerary.

> Beware! Before you go, remember to check whether access to the forest is allowed. See the “practical information” section.
