Randonnée : De Montauroux au barrage de Malpasset

Dans un décor majestueux, ce parcours retrace un passé historique et douloureux sur la rupture du barrage de Malpasset, qui provoqua dans la nuit du 2 décembre 1959, un déferlement d'eaux assassinant sur la ville Fréjus.

Description

Cette randonnée vous propose de faire le grand écart en partant d'un domaine résidentiel calme et récent pour accéder jusqu'aux ruines du barrage de Malpasset dont le souvenir funeste reste à jamais ancré au coeur des varois.
> Accès : depuis la CD 37 (en provenance de l'autoroute, de la RN7 ou du lac de St Cassien) prendre l'embranchement indiquant "Domaine les Estérêts du lac". Arrivé au rond-point devant la mairie annexe.
> Parking : à côté de la mairie annexe (gratuit)
> Point de départ : devant la mairie annexe

> Attention ! Le circuit ne peut s'effectuer que par temps sec car il faut franchir 3 gués
