

Historical Comics Festival
The 3rd Festival of the Historical Comics of Roquebrune-sur-Argens takes place on June 17 and 18, 2023 on the Place des Félibres. During two days, this festival gathers passionate persons and amateurs of these works but also 13 authors.

Imaginary or historical. From Superman to Don Quixote. Comics have demonstrated over the years their ability to deal with any subject.
Laughter, wonder, dreams, etc., the world of comics arouses a multitude of emotions. During two days, the festival of the historical comics of Roquebrune-sur-Argens gathers enthusiasts and amateurs of these works but also 13 authors.
On the program :
- signing of the comics by the authors from 10:30 am to 12:00 am and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm - only the albums bought on the spot at the Charlemagne bookstore or from the authors.
- official release of volume 3 of the historical comic book of Roquebrune "From the Middle Ages to Modern Times
- representation of a medieval camp with the association of the Médiévales Roquebrunoises des 3 Croix and show
- stands of figurines, old games and board games
- presence of the SMIDDEV

Conference/debate with Jean-Claude Bauer, illustrator of the album on the trial of Klaus Barbie. Official draftsman present at the trial of Klaus Barbie from May 11 to July 3, 1987, Mr. Bauer will lead a conference/debate.
